Thrash metal legends Slayer have announced a final world tour before they plan to call it quits, after a stunning career of over 30 years.
The Californian titans have given us plenty to remember them by over the years, from the early releases of 'Show No Mercy' and 'Hell Awaits' to the ground-breaking 'Reign in Blood', all the way up to the modern slabs of metal on 'World Painted Blood' and, what looks to be their latest ever release in 2015- 'Repentless'.
One thing is for sure, Slayer will go out on top; with a rumoured US tour containing a stunning support line-up of Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament and Behemoth soon to be announced. Further dates will be revealed along the way, so if you want to hear 'Angel of Death', 'Mandatory Suicide' and 'War Ensemble' one more time in the live environment- 2018 looks like it might be your final chance.
In the era of reunions, you can never say never, but if this is it- thank you Slayer for destroying our ear drums for the last 30+ years.
We will post tour dates as soon as they are released.
