Canadian Hard Rockers Age of Days Return with a Scorching Cover of Roxette’s ‘The Look’
They’ve been away for far too long, but Age of Days are gearing up to put out the follow-up to their 2013 album ‘Radioactivity’ with the release of an excellent rendition of Roxette’s ‘The Look’, which features Butcher Babies’ Heidi Shepherd on backing vocals.
The combination of Tim Morrison’s infectious snarl and Shepherd’s sultry clean vocals and some nice little screams are the perfect combination on an infectious chorus much like the original, while the guitars, bass and drums all pack a forceful punch to make this one of the best cover songs of 2018- guarenteed to make you want to play it on repeat until it sticks in your head and refuses to leave.
The track is available now on Spotify and all other worthy platforms, and we’ll bring you more information on Age of Day’s new album when we have it.
You can also check out the ‘Radioactivity’ album on Spotify, plus the band’s debut release ‘Hollywood Ending’, released in 2008 under their then-name Age of Daze.
Previous single ‘Afflicted’ became a smash hit on Sirius XM Octane, and the band has shared stages with the likes of Papa Roach and Buckcherry to name just two, so head on over to www.ageofdays.com for more information on the Canadian outfit.
